Deep Water Pirk Fishing

Primarily a film about the use of pirks for deep water cod, this film is also a demonstration of the quality of cod fishing northern Norway's fjords can produce with fish shown here in excess of 47 pounds. All aspects of lure use and the techniques employed to get the best from them are explored, including the down tide casting of fast drop pirks used in conjunction with deck space rotation to minimise the line angle on the drop.
