Tope prefer a bit of run to bring them on to the feed. Or is it that they like a bit of movement in the bait. Either way, at slack water, tope fishing usually tails right off. So Onyermarks skipper Ian Burrett decided to put a bait down just dapping bottom under a float. Using the last dregs of the tide and any available wind, he was able to put some movement back into the bait, with some excellent results.
